Virginia “Faye” Hindman, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was born July 07, 1945, in Soddy Daisy, TN. to the late Fred and Eva Nelson.
She worked as a caregiver for many years. Many people knew Faye as “mamaw” as she took care of everyone and loved everyone. She always made sure you left her house knowing you were loved and full of food. To know her was to love her. Faye always sang with her family and sang the praises of her beloved hospice family at Southern Comfort Hospice with Vicki and Kristen. Thank you for taking such great and loving care of her. You went above and beyond and we are eternally grateful.
Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend of 52 years, Tom.
She is survived by her son Gene and Cat Hindman of Middleburg, FL.; daughter Christie Buffington (Ken Harmon) of Cumming, GA.; Granddaughters: Bailey and Terry Owens of Chattanooga, TN.; Karly Hindman of Tennessee; Elizabeth and Devonte Leach of South Carolina; Crystal Stott of Georgia; Allyson and Matt Segars of Georgia; Briana and Christian Kirk of Georgia; Justin and Harley Stott of Georgia; and 12 great-grandchildren.
